How to: Create a LinkedIn Badge for Your Website

To help drive traffic from your website to your LinkedIn profile as a means to connect and engage with you – you might want to consider adding a LinkedIn badge to your website.

Instructions:

  1. From your profile, click on “contact info”
  2. Click on the pencil symbol to edit
  3. Click on the arrow symbol (next to your LinkedIn Profile URL)
  4. This should open a new page. Scroll down and click on the “create a badge” button under Public Profile Badge.
  5.  Copy the code in step one and paste it into your webpage (e.g. in your WordPress page editor)
  6.  Then in step two choose the badge you wish to use and copy that code and paste it below the first line of code.
  7. Refresh and you are ready to go.
