I is for… Instatribe and Influencers
On Instagram you are probably looking to network with both your instratribe as well as influencers.
Find your tribe!
On Instagram, it is important to seek out and find your tribe, your community and your customers and contacts that you want to network with on Instagram. How you do this will depend on your goals (and your strategy), but let’s say by way of example you are a product brand business and you are looking to grow your network and seek out potential customers and followers who might be interested in buying your product.
Start with your customer persona. What does your target audience like and what are likely to engage with? Who are they? You should build a specific instagram personal (and include data from your instagram insights). This persona should grow and develop as you do.
You can then use the persona to build your content plan and hashtag strategy to
Influencers
Instagram can be a great space to reach out to influencers. People of influence that can help you market to a wider audience.
Micro Influencers are smaller influencers but have a committed and loyal following (under 10k) with a high-engagement. While Major Influencers are celebs/household names and influencers who have followers in the region of tens of thousands or millions. Major Influencers are likely to be more selective about who they work with and you will be likely to have to approach them through an agency, whereas micro influencers are more likely to be regular people just like you.
This often means that you can take a more direct approach and reach out to them on Instagram and work on building a long-lasting relationship with the right influencers when you find them.
