Quick Tip: Identify & Evaluate your Professional Network

We wrote previously about identifying who is in your network by using a network circle. You will usually have a mix of contacts in your network so once you have identified your contacts, evaluate the contacts that you listed.

Give some thought to why each of your contacts is valuable to you. Some people may provide knowledge and experience, others may be supportive contacts while other contacts will not be productive contacts (yet).

Think about who do you want to get to know better and who do you want to nurture your relationship with right now. Your time is limited. Where should you be focusing your efforts?
