Mailing List
We use third party services to provide our mailing list including mailchimp and hellobar. If you sign up to our mailing list via these services you will also be bound by their privacy policy and terms and conditions.
We collect your name and email address to contact you using our mailing list. We will only use this information send you our newsletter which will include information about our blog posts, products and services. We do not share your details with others. You can unsubscribe (opt-out) from our mailing list at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Who we share your data with
We may have to share your personal data with the External Third Parties Services and parties set out below.
- Woocommerce, Shopify, Kickstarter and Coursecraft- Providers acting as processors for our store and products and services that we offer and link to from our website. They are based outside the EU and who provide IT, system administration and payments processing. They secure data behind a secure firewall. If you choose a direct payment method, they will process your card payment directly. Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. By using these services through our website you are confirming that you accept their privacy policy and terms and conditions.
- Marketing applications including Hello Bar, Mailchimp and Social Media Platforms (including Facebook Twitter and Instagram) which are based outside the UK.
- Reporting and user experience including Google Analytics and WordPress.
- Professional advisers, HM Revenue & Customs, regulators and other authorities acting as processors based in the UK who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.
- Accounting records and payments processors including Stripe and Paypal.
- Order fulfilment assistanceand inventory management including Royal Mail and WooCommerce.
