Quick Tip: After a Networking Event Write a To-Do List

NTFB Blog Posts - quick tips

After a networking event, you are likely to come away with a number of follow up activities. I would recommend that you write a to-do list post-event. Try to do the majority of these within the first 24 hours after the event. E.g. Sending a follow-up thank you email, following up on business cards or connecting with people on LinkedIn.

But in addition to this, you are likely yo have a number of other more substantial to-do items that will play into your wider Business Development Strategy.

These items should be added to your Networking To-Do List.

In relation to these sort of items, you should aim to implement at least one item on your list within one week.

If you use our networking planner you should use our follow-up prompts and follow up layouts to guide you.
