Quick Tip: Networking as a Team? Have regular BD/Networking Calls or Meetings

NTFB Blog Posts - quick tips

If you are doing business development and networking as part of a wider team or where you are representing a company or team within a company it is important to have a joined-up approach.

A great way to have a more joined-up approach is to create your own internal strategy and to have regular forward-looking Business Development and Networking calls or meetings.

These should only be 30 mins and should be done on a regular basis (such as monthly or quarterly). If you have key client relationships you might also want a separate meeting dedicated to specific clients.

At the meetings, you should discuss things like:

  • strategy.
  • upcoming events and opportunities.
  • individuals inputs/responsibilities and progress.
  • wins and achievements (collective and individual).
  • Requests for help.
