Quick Tip: Create a “We should meet” Twitter List
Online networking can be a great way to meet and connect with new people and new audiences. Creating a “We should meet” Twitter list can be a great way to keep track of people you’ve had conversations with or people you’ve met on Twitter who you’d like to meet in person.
Here’s how you can create one:
- Log in to your Twitter account and go to your profile.
- Click on the “Lists” tab on the navigation bar.
- Click on the “Create List” button.
- Give your list a name, such as “We should meet” and add a brief description if you’d like.
- Select the privacy setting for your list. You can choose to make it public, so anyone can see and subscribe to the list, or private, so only you can see it.
- Click on the “Create” button.
- Once your list is created, you can start adding people to it. You can do this by going to a person’s profile, clicking on the three dots on the top right corner of their profile, and selecting “Add or remove from lists.” You can also add people to the list by searching for their username in the search bar on the top right corner of your profile and clicking on the “Add” button next to their username.
- You can also use the list to find and connect with the people you’ve added to it. You can find your list by clicking on the “Lists” tab on your profile and clicking on the “We should meet” list.
By creating this list, you can easily keep track of people you’ve met on Twitter who you’d like to meet in person and also send them a message mentioning you have a list and your availability for a coffee or meeting. Additionally, you can also use it to follow the conversations and updates from people who are interesting to you and with whom you want to stay in touch.
