Quick Tip: Don’t be afraid to cast your net wide

When you are looking to reach out to your network and/or look for opoprtunities. Don’t be afraid to cast your net wide. Your network is always larger than you think it is.

Don’t forget that you will not just have a single network. You will have multiple networks that can be called upon and these can be any number of things that relate to who you are and where you are.

For example you might have a professional network, a business network, industry network, geographical network, school network, internal network etc. This list goes on.

If you are not sure what networks you are might like to identify the different networks you have access to and work out your networking circle if you haven’t already done this (or it has been a while since you carried out this exercise).
