Quick Tip: Keep in Contact with your Network on a Regular Basis

You don’t need to be told this – but just as a reminder, Keep in contact with your network.

The general rule is the more I see you, the more I like you, and the more we can help each other. A large part of building relationships and networking is about keeping in regular contact with your network. This allows your relationships can grow and build.

The people who you see consistently attend meetings and networking events and keep in contact with are usually the people who you will end up doing business with. You will know them better. You will hopefully found that you have something in common. You may even exchanged help or assistance on an informal basis prior to entering into a more formal business relationship.

Even if you never do direct business with them research shows that people are more likely to recommend someone they know. This means they are more likely to mention your name if some one mentions in passing that they need XYZ.
