Quick Tip: Say Thanks.
Send a Thank You Card
We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas break and got some opportunity to spend time with your family and friends.
In the post-Christmas period / early January – carve out some time to sit down and write some thank you cards to your network (as well as your friends and family).
Say thank you for the gifts that you received. Say thank you for things that have happened over the past year and simply say thank you to someone for supporting you or giving you their business in what has been a difficult year.
This can also be an opportunity to thank people simply for making an impact in your life and showing some gratitude to kick off the new year (as part of your end of year reflections).
I favour a handwritten thank you note, but a thank you note can be an email or a handwritten card or letter – just make it personal and show your gratitude.
