Quick Tip: Show up with the Right Attitude

An important tool for considering first impressions and making a good impression when networking is to consider how you are perceived and whether you are showing up with the right attitude.

You should aspire to be approachable, fun/positive to be around and helpful. You should aspire to be a “ray of sunshine” in your personal life and in the office.  It is important to remember that being a “ray of sunshine” is not the same as being extroverted and/or expending a lot of energy. It can simply be being helpful, being a good listener and being positive.

These with these traits you will be more positive about yourself and be perceived as more approachable by others.
