Quick Tip: Take Virtual Coffee Breaks with your team
If you are not used to working from home / remote working (and even if you are) it is important to keep in touch with your colleagues, your team, your clients, your referrers and other contacts.
If you are working from home, you should build into your routine plenty of networking activities with your team to maintain and to continue to build your relationships.
One way to do this is to hold virtual coffee chats with your team members. This might be on a one-to-one basis or small groups. You might schedule this ahead of time such as a regular coffee break/catch up or it might be a more impromptu ask (as you would if you were just walking by their desk).
You can use virtual coffee breaks to have regular check-ins with individual team members, to simply say hi and check how they are doing (coping with the new routine of remote working) or to discuss and ask specific work-related questions/matters.
