Remote Networking Tips #17: Set up a Virtual Coffee Morning

If you want to meet a group of people rather than simply have a 1-1 Coffee why not set up your own coffee morning instead (or join a pre-existing one). A coffee morning is a small video group chat with a limited number of attendees (select guest list) designed to help a small group of people with a common interest network over coffee.

Coffee mornings are perfect for casual networking conversations and for catching up with other people that work in the same industry. Similar to how you would network at a breakfast seminar before listening to a speaker only with just a host/facilitator and without the keynote speaker.

The coffee morning format works well for both groups of people that already know each other and perhaps regularly cross paths at networking events as well as people who do not already know each other but share a common interest.
