Remote Networking Tips #18: Host (or attend) a Virtual Drinks Event

The usual happy hour / after work drinks has been replaced by virtual drinks. Virtual drinks are usually held at the end of the working day and everyone has their beverage of choice and joins in a video call. Virtual drinks are also often accompanied by an activity such as a quiz which can work as entertainment or ice-breaker for people who do not know each other well.

However, simple no-frills virtual drinks can also be a great way to catch up with your team or other people you know without the distraction of the working day. An unstructured space where people can talk about whatever they like and wind-down after a busy day.
