Remote Networking Tips #20: Use Group Chats to keep in touch

Group chat (using slack, teams, whatspp or other chat app) is an ideal way to stay in touch with not just your team, but also your networking groups.It doesn’t have to be strictly business you can use it to discuss anything you want.

Some networking groups and organisations that I am a part of have set up chats to keep in touch generally, whereas others have set up chats around sharing information and tips on specific topics or based on specific hobbies and interests.

Whatever you are interested in – keep an eye out for some chats to participate in? If there isn’t one (and you think there should be) why not set up your own!
