Summer is Here: Team Building Activities

Summer is here.

It is the perfect time to get out and about doing some networking. It might be formal networking, informal networking or internal networking with your team. Whatever it is – Summer weather and longer daylight hours present the perfect opportunity for getting some networking events in the diary.

It is also the perfect opportunity to get out and about with your team and to take part on some team building exercises and socials to build your internal network.

Here are some suggestions for team building and networking activities that are perfect for summertime:

• go on a field trip;
• go on a treasure hunt or scavenger hunt (this also makes a good general networking event if you are looking for something a bir different);
• do a volunteering/CSR day together as a team and give back to your local community;
• do a summer party or sports day or BBQ for your employees and their families;
• run a sports event or tournament that everyone can participate or organise a “friendly” with another company.
• do a tourist activity for the day.
