What is yours?
You should use stories to share key messages about you, your brand and your products or services.
Think about what your USP is, what makes you different and how you can make this into a story. Think about your customer and how you can become part of their story.
There are two types of stories:
One is your content, your stories. What are you doing, what are you working on? etc
The second is borrowed stories. You can use other stories to boost your visibility, this might be commenting on stories on social media and using what is trending. This might be linking third-party content back to your own business or values. However, it is important that it is relevant to your business.
How do you tell stories?
There are lots of different ways that you can tell stories using different types of content.
Here are just some examples:
- Video Content – interviews, livestreams, animations, time-lapse videos etc.
- Visual Content – photographs, illustrations, graphics, infographics, GIFs etc.

- What content works towards your goals and objectives?
- What commitment and resources can you devote to this piece of content?
- How is it relevant to my audience?
- How is it adding value?
