Use Networking to improve collaboration with colleagues

Networking with your peers and colleagues internally within your company can help you improve collaboration, team-working and innovation with colleagues.

Small teams and companies can really benefit from close-knit teams who collaborate and work effectively together. Large companies can benefit from colleagues and different teams getting to know each other better, as they will be more likely to and able to collaborate and work together in the future.

On an individual level, it is worth you networking with and getting to know your colleagues and peers, both within your immediate team and beyond so that you get to know them better and become more visible to them. After all, particularly inside a large organisation, your colleagues can be strangers, therefore building your internal network can be vital.
