Z is for… Zero

Everyone has to start somewhere. Don’t be afraid of starting off with zero followers. Take your time when building your network and list of followers and people you are following. Focus on engagement. 

Don’t forget to be brutal about who you are following. If the images don’t inspire you – unfollow. The Algorithm picks up on this so you want to focus on positive engagement and content.

There are many ways that you can boost your following and engagement (some of which we have already mentioned during the challenge) including:

• posting high quality content;
• using engaging captions and CTAs;
• winning over the algorithm and boosting your engagement so that you are more visible;
• using hashtags so that people can find you;
• networking and commenting / liking content you like and using explore to find interesting and popular content to engage with;
• using Instagram or a regular (rather than ad hoc) basis.
